The photography course I went to not too long ago was hosted by the local student newspaper, and of course we were given the opportunity to sign up for a meeting about the paper the following week (aka. last week). I decided to go because I was curious as to how things worked at the paper. I also wanted to get in some photography practice (landscape pictures become a bit boring after, litterally, having taken thousands of them). Anyway, I went to the meeting thinking I was just going to sit, listen and get more info. However, it wasn't meant to be. When I left I had been given my first assignment (a 1000-word piece on stereotypes *gasp*).... So much for "just listening". *Smiley sticking tounge out*
