Report in pictures from day 17:
I woke up at quarter to 6 and caught the sunrise.
The people in the village make chicken houses above the ground so other animals don't eat/destroy their eggs.
Chicken and her children surrounding a dog.
A typical mudhut. The houses in the village are all made like this.
A larger mudhut.
Puppies!
This is the nursery/1. grade school. We were told it costs around 20000 Norwegian crowns to make a building like this (3 room, where of 2 are classrooms).
One of the classrooms seen through the window.
A woman in the village preparing Nshima with her 7-month old baby on her back.
Nshima with trimmings (from left: fried okra, eggplant, pumpkin leaves with crushed nuts).
